TakumiTerms of Service
These terms explain how Takumi works for customers and pros, and what each side can expect.
1. Who we are
Takumi is a marketplace that connects customers with independent home service professionals (pros) in Nigeria. Pros are not our employees.
2. Accounts
You must give accurate information and keep your login safe. Pros must pass identity checks (NIN, BVN and selfie) before taking jobs.
3. Bookings and fees
Customers pay a ₦500 booking fee per booking to unlock a pro, except where a promotion or Takumi Plus applies. The job price is agreed between customer and pro.
4. Payments
All payments go through Takumi. We hold the job payment and release materials money on arrival and labour on confirmation.
5. Pro responsibilities
Pros must do the work safely and as described, show up on time, and keep customer information private.
6. Disputes
If a customer reports a problem before confirming, the payment stays on hold while we review. We may arrange a revisit, a split or a refund.
7. Prohibited use
No fraud, harassment, off-platform payment to avoid fees, or false reviews. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
8. Liability
We work hard to verify pros but cannot guarantee every outcome. Our liability is limited as allowed by Nigerian law.
