How are pros verified?+

Every pro confirms their NIN, BVN and a live selfie before taking jobs. Pros who add a home address, a guarantor, a skills test and good reviews move up to Verified and Trusted.

What happens to my money?+

We hold your money in a dedicated account. If the job needs parts, the materials money goes to the pro when they arrive, and they share the receipt in your chat for you to approve. The labour is only paid after you confirm the job is done, and any unused materials money comes back to your wallet.

Can I pay the pro directly?+

No. Every payment goes through Takumi so your money is protected until the job is done. Paying a pro outside the app removes your protection and warranty, and can get both accounts suspended.

What if the job isn’t done right?+

Report it in the app before you confirm. Your payment stays on hold while we arrange a free revisit, a partial refund or a full refund.

When will you launch in my city?+

We’re live in Lagos, Ibadan and Osun first. Other cities go live once enough verified pros join there. Join the waitlist and we’ll tell you first.
