TakumiRefund Policy
When you can get your money back, and how long it takes.
1. Protected payments
If you paid through Takumi and report a problem before confirming the job, your payment stays on hold until we resolve it.
2. Pro no-shows
If your pro does not show up, you get a full refund of the job payment and your booking fee, or a free rebooking.
3. Unfinished or poor work
We may arrange a free revisit, a partial refund (split) or a full refund, depending on what our review finds.
4. Materials
Materials money released to the pro on arrival is refundable only if the materials were not bought or used for your job.
5. Booking fee
The ₦500 booking fee is refunded if the pro cancels or does not show up. It is not refunded if you cancel after the pro is on the way.
6. Payments outside Takumi
All payments must go through Takumi. Money paid to a pro outside the app is not covered by this policy.
7. Timing
Approved refunds are paid to your wallet instantly or to your bank or card within 5 to 10 working days.
